Every personal intervention opens a window of opportunity to look into one’s health and wellbeing. Our mission is to maximise each one by leveraging technology and data to improve healthcare delivery now and in the future, ultimately leading to better health outcomes for all.
Technology advancements can enhance care delivery from hospitals to home enabling us to benefit financially, socially and medically. Technology is not empathetic and will never replace touch but it can help us to have a bigger voice, have an informed conversation that is understood and heard.
Our vision is to change social policy enabling people to remain well in the place they choose.
Our Purpose
Healthcare is moving towards using digital enablement, supporting clinical decision making and sending validated data and providing one version of the truth.
This will never be able to replace touch, empathy, and intuition. Soft signs that tell us something or someone is deteriorating, communication is key to recognition and response.
Our passion and purpose is to empower people to use a common language both verbally and digitally to have a bigger voice but importantly to be heard.
Meet Tara
Hi...I'm Tara Marshall. I'm a critical care nurse with a passion for patient safety, I'm also an offshore sailor and the founder of These Hands Academy Ltd

Professionally after 25 years in the NHS, I’ve found my home in patient safety and started my own consultancy.
Personally I have sailed boats all my life, taught by my dad. I have sailed across the busiest shipping channel in Europe in a small catamaran, broken bits, been very scared and survived.
